OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro Indian Pricing Announced - Starting at ₹41,999

OnePlus launched the all new OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro globally on 14th of April 2020. During the live stream they didn’t mention anything about pricing and availability for the Indian market (maybe due to the nation-wide lockdown till 3rd May 2020).

But nevertheless they did announce the pricing and availability of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro today. So let’s talk about the price at which OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are launched at in India.

OnePlus 8 Price India

OnePlus 8 will start at ₹41,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage variant. Honestly this price is excellent and OnePlus surprised us all with the pricing.

6GB + 128GB – ₹41,999 (Glacial Green)

8GB + 128GB – ₹44,999 (Onyx Black, Glacial Green)

12GB + 256GB – ₹49,999 (Onyx Black, Glacial Green, Interstellar Glow)

OnePlus 8 Pro Price India

OnePlus 8 Pro will start at ₹54,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage variant. Honestly this price is excellent and OnePlus surprised us all with the pricing.

So the OnePlus 8 seems to be a pretty solid upgrade over the OnePlus 7T. Snapdragon 865 Processor with 5G, 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.0 Storage. OnePlus is sticking to the higher refresh rate display which is excellent. The OnePlus 8 comes with a 6.55″ FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED Display with a hole-punch cutout for the camera.

As far as the batter goes, OnePlus 8 is gonna come with a 4300mAh Battery with 30W Warp Charge 30T which basically means 30W Fast charging.

OnePlus 8 won’t be getting wireless charging or an IP Rating as this device is more budget friendly as compared to the 8 Pro.

As far as the cameras go, OnePlus is not going the 64MP route. They seem to be sticking with a 48MP Primary camera with a 16MP Ultra Wide Camera and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie camera is a 16MP shooter.

OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 865 Processor with 5G, 8GB or 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 Storage. The display seems to be an upgrade over OnePlus 7T Pro. It is now a 6.78″ QHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED Display. I am really excited to try out the 120Hz AMOLED Display.

The battery seems to be a 4510mAh battery with 30W Fast Charging, 30W Wireless Charging and 3W Reverse Wireless Charging too. So finally OnePlus is introducing wireless and reverse wireless charging in their devices.

The phone is also IP68 Water Resistant which is a welcome upgrade.
