Poco took a long break after launching the legendary Pocophone F1 or Poco F1. Poco F1 brought back the concept of “Flagship Killer” and in a great way. It was one of the best budget phones in 2018. Yeah it’s almost been 2 years since the launch of Poco F1. So after a long break Poco is back with its new phone called the Poco F2 Pro.
Poco F2 Pro is a successor to the Poco F1 and it is a beast in terms of specifications that it offers for the price. Let’s talk about the Poco F2 Pro in detail and what all it brings to the table this time around.
Poco F2 Pro Design
As far as the design goes, F2 Pro will come with an all glass design which looks pretty unique. The glass on the front as well as back is a Corning’s Gorilla 5. In the world of disappearing headphone jacks, Poco F2 does come with one which is a great thing. The F2 Pro also has an IR Blaster and NFC support.
The Poco F2 Pro come is four colour options – Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple and Cyber Grey.
Poco F2 Pro Display
Poco F2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It doesn’t seem to have any hole-punch cut out nor does it have a notch. The front camera is hidden behind the display and can be used with a Pop-Up Camera mechanism. It is a true full screen display with a 92.7% screen-to-body ratio. High brightness mode goes up to 800 nits and max brightness is up to 1200 nits.
This time around Poco didn’t mess up. The F2 Pro does come with widevine L1 certification. That means you can play HD content on platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc.

Poco F2 Pro will be a re-branded Redmi K30 Pro which was launched in China a couple of weeks ago. Rumours suggested this a long time ago and well they were true.
Poco f2 pro is a flagship killer. Which means that it offers flagship level specifications at the fraction of a price. Under the hood, Poco F2 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 865 Processor, which is the best that Qualcomm has to offer for this year. On the GPU side of things, the Poco F2 Pro has an Adreno 650 GPU which is expected to give 25% more graphics performance. This means that the F2 Pro is going to be a solid phone for all you gamers out there. The phone will come with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of internal storage. To power all this awesome hardware, there’s a 4700mAh Battery with support for 30W Fast Charging.
Poco F2 Pro also has a new Liquid Cooling Technology called as the Liquid Cool Technology 2.0. This tech will help the Poco F2 Pro to dissipate heat much faster and in term giving you better performance. This feature will be typically useful for all the gamers out there.

It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor with a 123-degree Field of View. Apart from that there’s a 5MP Macro camera and a 2MP Depth sensor for portrait shots.
Poco F2 Pro has a snapdragon 865 processor which makes it possible for it to shoot videos up to 8K. That is one hell of a feature at this price.
On the front side of things, there is a 20MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera.

There’s no word on Indian Launch and Availability of this Poco F2 Pro. The rumours about a regular Poco F2 (non-pro) with Snapdragon 855+ being launched in India seem pretty promising now.
