After delaying the launch a couple of times because of the nation-wide lockdown, Xiaomi finally launched their latest flagship smartphone i.e Mi 10 in India. Mi 10 directly competes with the OnePlus 8 Pro. Xiaomi has not been able to break the flagship smartphone segment like they did with the budget segment. Can Mi 10 change that? Well, let’s find out.
Xiaomi is back in the flagship smartphone game after some time (at least in India). Mi 10 seems like a pretty solid phone on paper and a lot of people will be interested to buy it. Today let’s talk in brief about the Mi 10 and see what it brings to the table at the starting price of Rs. 49,999.
Mi 10 Design
Mi 10 has a very modern 2020 design. Glass on the front as well as on the back side with an aluminium frame. It looks pretty awesome in my opinion. Just like previous Mi phones, this one too is curved on the front and back. The display is curved on both the sides which makes it look like a Samsung or OnePlus phone. Talking about the display, it comes with a hole punch cut out on the top left side to house a 20 MP front camera. The overall design language is great.
Mi 10 will come in two colour options – Coral Green and Twilight Grey.
Mi 10 Display
Mi 10 comes with a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED Display with a peak brightness of 1120 nits (Max brightness 820 nits). The refresh rate of the display is 90Hz with a touch response of 180Hz. The display also supports HDR 10+. It seems like a pretty solid display at least on paper.
The display is also curved on the sides (just like the OnePlus 8 Pro). I personally prefer flat displays. Let me know what you guys like – A flat display or a Curved Display?

Mi 10 Camera
Mi 10 comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear side.

There is support for RAW photo and video shooting. Yes, RAW for photos as well as videos. I am excited to try out the RAW video mode.
