Xiaomi unveiled the all new MIUI 12 a couple of days ago in china. MIUI 12 is a pretty significant upgrade over MIUI 11 especially in terms of the look and feel. MIUI 12 comes with new animations, wallpapers, a brand new control centre and whole lot of other great stuff.

If you want to install MIUI 12 on your Xiaomi or Redmi device then the only option right now is the closed beta ROM. This MIUI 12 closed beta ROM is the Chinese version and you should install it on your phone at your own risk. It isn’t stable by any means and not recommended for daily normal use.

Anyway, if you are a tech enthusiast like me and want to just try out the new MIUI 12 and all its new features then you can install it on your phone.

How to install MIUI 12 Closed Beta

Once you have an unlocked Bootloader and TWRP recovery you can follow these simple steps to install MIUI 12 closed beta on your phone –

Download the proper flashable ZIP for your device
Reboot to TWRP Recovery
Wipe Data/Cache/System
Flash the ROM Zip File
Reboot to system
