Redmi K30 Pro with Snapdragon 865 and a Pop-Camera Just Announced

Xiaomi just launched a successor to the legendary Redmi K20 Pro i.e. Redmi K30 Pro. The Redmi K30 Pro was launched today in China via an online live stream event.

Just like its predecessor the K30 Pro is supposed to be a flagship killer. Today let’s talk in detail about this newly launched Redmi K30 Pro and let’s see what all does it bring to the table.

Redmi K30 Pro Specifications:

Redmi K30 pro is supposed to be a flagship killer. Which means that it offers flagship level specifications at the fraction of a price. Under the hood, Redmi K30 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 865 Processor, which is the best that Qualcomm has to offer for this year. On the GPU side of things, the Redmi K30 Pro comes with an Adreno 650 GPU which is supposed to give 25% more graphics performance. This means that the K30 Pro is a solid phone for all you gamers out there. The phone comes with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of internal storage. To power all this awesome hardware, there’s a 4700mAh Battery with support for 33W Fast Charging.

Redmi K30 Pro also supports 5G, Bluetooth 5 and WiFi 802.11ax. It also comes with a 3.5mm Heaphone Jack, USB Type-C Port and an In-Display Fingerprint Sensor. The software is MIUI 11 based on Android 10.

Redmi K30 Pro Display & Design:

Redmi K30 Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It doesn’t have any hole-punch cut out nor does it have a notch. The front camera is hidden behind the display and can be used with a Pop-Up Camera mechanism. As far as the design goes, K30 Pro comes with an all glass design which looks pretty unique. The phone comes in four color options – Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Purple, and Space Grey.

Redmi K30 Pro Camera:

The Redmi K30 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear, with a dual-LED flash. The primary camera is the 64MP Sony IMX 686 sensor. It is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor with a 123-degree Field of View. Apart from that there’s a 5MP Macro camera and a 2MP Depth sensor for portrait shots.

On the front side of things, there’s a 20MP Pop-Up Selfie Camera.

Redmi K30 Pro Pricing & Availability:

The Redmi K30 Pro comes in 3 configurations: 6GB + 128GB for CNY 2999(~ INR 30,000) , 8GB + 128GB for CNY 3399(~ INR 34,000) , and 8GB + 256GB for CNY 3699(~ INR 37,000).

Besides the regular K30 Pro, Redmi has also announced another variant for the device, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition . Instead of the 5MP macro lens on the regular K30 Pro it comes with an 8MP sensor to offer up to 30X zoom. The K30 Pro Zoom Edition comes in two configurations: 8GB + 128GB forCNY 3799 (~ INR 38,000) and 8GB + 256GB for CNY 3999 (~ INR 40,000).
